The second is its cleanliness. As we wandered through Singapore’s impeccably clean streets, we found a boasting fusion of tradition and innovation.

This award-winning attraction is a must-visit in Singapore. I fell in love with it the moment I walked in. It showcases beautifully landscaped gardens, the iconic Supertrees (giant vertical gardens), two large conservatories (Flower Dome and Cloud Forest), and various themed gardens.
Gardens by the Bay is a true marvel of nature and architecture. It was extra lively and vibrant when I was there around Christmas. There were many food stalls offering delicious drinks and snacks and the whole park was filled with the Christmas spirit. Visit Peranakan Houses

In the eastern part of Singapore, you will discover the captivating Peranakan houses, which are a testament to the city’s rich cultural heritage. These colorful and ornate dwellings showcase the unique architectural style of the Peranakan community, also known as the Straits Chinese.
Peranakan houses, also called “shophouses,” are characterized by their intricate facades adorned with decorative tiles, vibrant hues, and elaborate motifs. These architectural gems reflect the fusion of Chinese, Malay, and European influences, creating a distinctive blend of styles that is visually stunning.
Wander through the streets of neighborhoods like Joo Chiat and Katong and you will be transported back in time as you marvel at beautifully preserved Peranakan houses.
