We have been to Tenerife three times while spending over two months there during our first visit. As we set foot on Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, we were immediately captivated by its diverse landscapes.
The island boasts the majestic Mount Teide, Spain’s highest peak, which offers breathtaking panoramic views from its summit. From the vibrant capital city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife to the picturesque coastal towns like Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife blends modernity with natural beauty, making it a perfect destination for relaxation and adventure. There are numerous hiking and surfing opportunities. Even though the southern beaches are more popular among holidaymakers, we prefer the northern parts, especially the cute towns around Orotava Valley and beautiful Puerto de la Cruz.
