Andalucia highlights; 7 day travel itinerary


The itinerary covered below is based on flying in and out of Spain’s Andalucia region from the airports of either Malaga (AGP) or Seville (SVQ). When flying into Seville the route is 920 km and when flying in and out from Malaga the itinerary is 720 km. Either way, highlights for this trip include:


Day 1: Granada

  • Arrive in Granada and explore the city’s historic center.
  • Visit the Alhambra palace complex and Generalife Gardens. Remember to book your tickets in advance.
  • Wander through the Albaicín neighborhood, known for its Moorish architecture and narrow streets.
  • Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and local cuisine in the city.


Day 2: Granada

  • Explore the historic Granada Cathedral and the Royal Chapel.
  • Visit the colorful Alcaicería, the city’s old silk market.
  • Take a leisurely stroll along the Carrera del Darro, enjoying the scenic views.

Day 3: Natural Wonder – Sierra Nevada

  • After the visit, head back to Córdoba.
