Who are we?
Arne
Welcome to our page! I am Arne de Knegt. After spending 13 months completing my first around-the-globe trip in 1999, I returned to the Netherlands. I then got a normal 9 to 5 job as an urban planner.
However, shortly after I realized that it was not my calling and that there was a spectacular wide world out there for me to explore; mountains I wanted to hike, cities I longed to see, and oceans I dreamt of crossing.
Since then, I have traveled, worked, and done art and social engagement projects in 100+ countries on all 7 continents.
Traveling is not the only passion driving me. I love photography and have exhibited my art in several countries, including the Queens Museum in New York.
I want to inspire fellow travelers with my diverse travel portfolio and captivating photos reflecting the beauty of our world.
